Still with the same problem....the sockets in 2 bedrooms are not working. I have already changed all the sockets and still no help. I have also shut off breaker by breaker (which were not labeled) and for every breaker something in the house shut the power off and back on again. The breaker that I suspect is the one supplying the bedrooms is very loose and wobbles, however a light switch connected to this breaker does have power.
I also think that the attic fan is also connected to the bedroom wall outlets since it also no longer goes on. When I follow the wire of the attic fan it goes into a juntion box. Could the problem be in the juntion box? If so, what would I be looking for?[?]
One more thing that I noticed that I found strange.....one outlet had 6 wires to connect (3 white and 3 black) is this a problem? I've never seen anything like this. I suppose that this outlet feeds the power to a light switch that is controls an outlet in the next room. Is this normal?
Please help I'm lost at this point. Thank you
