    Removing pressboard under linoleum

    We are removing our kitchen floor that has 2 vinyl floors from 1979 & 1990. There are 12" x 12" pressboard like material squares that are stapled to the subfloor. What is the best way to remove the stubborn, well stapled squares & staples?
