I am trying to finish my basement bathroom. The dap out in the concrete for the tub/shower drain has a 2" pipe laying horizontal and is terminated at beginning of the dap out. in the middle of the dap out there is a large corrugated pipe going to my sump pit with mesh fabric over the top of it. My problem is that there is no room for a P-Trap(corrugate pipe in the way), no way to check for a P-trap because the pipe is horizontal so I cannot look down it, and there is no room for the waste/overflow kit because the corrugated pipe is in the way as well as the edge of the sump pit which is right next to the dap out. If I take out the pipe then the next time it rains the water from my drain tile will go in the dap out. The sump pit is so close to the dap out that a little of the pit is actually one of the walls of the dap out.
Questions:
1. Would a P-Trap already be under the slab?
2. Why would they put the drain tile pipe under the dap out hole and make it impossible for a waste/overflow
3. How can I make a Tub/shower work in this spot?
