Have a steel roof over our four car garage that is about 25 years old. Very happy with it. Have been working on finishing off the inside finally and noticed two spots where we are getting 'rain drips' after heavy rains. Since I want to put ceilings into this part of the garage and heat it, thought best to do something about those leaks. Assume that a few nails have come lose so was going to just seal all the seams over that part of the roof. Should I use silicone or acrylic base? Thoughts?
