I had a landscaper (they also built my patio) bury the downspouts at our new home. We still don't have sod yet. I was looking at their work. The tubes are the wider type (can’t recall the inches) and some are perforated tubing – some not. All about 10 feet long; just stick out of the ground at the end about 10inches to 1.5 feet. Also; there's a cheese-cloth like covering over the tubes - don't know what that's about.
I believe I can get a screen for these for the ends – not sure if that is necessary….?
My big worry was the perforated tubing. Besides ascetics, I was mainly concerned about getting water away from the foundation. Will perforated tubing be a problem?
Thanks,
Jim
