  • scan disk and clock problems

Lately my calender and clock aren't staying put.

Also when trying to run scan disk in after checking the box that automatically fixes file system errors, a message says it needs exclusive access to windows, so I restart the computer, verify files, indexes, and security descriptions. After restarting, I get the same message.

Checking the second box that scans for and attempt recovery of bad sectors will run.

I use superantispyware and Windows defender.

Not sure what is going on here. Thanks.

Change the lithium cell on the motherboard. They usually last 5 yrs or more, but they are batteries!

Sometimes for some odd reason your computer gets the wrong clock time from the internet. Simply click on the clock and find where you may go to internet time. Try and sync it with that. That may just be a temp fix if your computer continues to pull the wrong time at start up. Go to your bios and change it there too.
