We are moving into a home with brass fixtures...everwhere. I am NOT a brass fan. Has anyone ever painted faucets and fixtures? I would love to change them without purchasing new ones. Thanks

Kincaidkid,
Welcome to the forum!
I understand you don't want to buy new ones but... I don't think you will find any paint that will stick to the brass. The only thing I have seen is removing the pieces and having them chemically cleaned and dipped. When you do this you can choose any new finish you want. The effort and costs involved don't make this practical for most people. If you have to remove them for this process you might as well buy new ones the style/finish you want with all new seals and you don't have to wait for severals days to get your old ones back.
The only other thing would be to check who the manufacturer is of the fixtures, contact them and see if they have replacement handles, etc. in white or some other finish.
My suggestion would be to pick one room at a time and replace the fixtures as you have the time/money and desire.
Good luck, Jim

KinCaidKid...
This isn't a permanent fix like Jimmer said, but we wanted to change a bright brass fixture over our sink area for the same reason. I used a product called Flek-It, or Flek Stone, on it. Well, it's been 2 years now and it's just fine. I suppose it depends where your fixture is located and how much abuse it will get, but mine is doing fine. I've had good luck with this product on lightswitch covers, etc and so far so good.
