I made some changes to the permissions on the forum, if it creates a problem for anyone than please let me know. Here is how it now works:
There are three levels of membership available to all members.
1) Users awaiting confirmation - this is until you confirm your account
2) Registered members - this has full permissions, except you can't have a signature.
3) Valued registered members - this is those members who have posted more than 30 times (current setting, subject to change) and they can then have a permission.
There is no reason to join this forum just so you can put a link in the signature anymore.
