As of 1/25/2008, Troy has informed me that a "new" real time chat software has been installed on our forum. It is called 123 Flash Chat. At the top of the forum page is an area called appropriately CHAT. Clicking on this will bring you to a new window with CHAT. Once you are registered as a new user in our forum, your identity will automatically be appended into the chat program. Therefore if you have pressing problems that can't wait for the normal ask/answer wait time, please feel free to contact a monitor or another user online in real time chat.
The way you'd invite a user into chat is to send him/her a private message. An alert window will pop up alerting the user of a message, and will ask if you'd accept the message in a new window. Click ok and your message will show up.
