General question regarding water heater.

Hello,
I want to clear myself few questions related to water heater.
Is a tank less water heater more energy efficient than a tank and can the water heater be installed at elevations that are 5,000 or 6,000 feet above sea level ?

yes they can be installed that high if they have proper ajustments I have installed bosch heaters that are equiped for elevation it should be listed under the specs for the heater if not refer to the instalation manual.
