  • Can a Piano Be Removed Without Damaging Hardwood Floors?

    Hello everyone.

I'm planning to clear out a music room, but my biggest concern is protecting the hardwood floors during piano removal. The piano is extremely heavy, and the path to the front door includes a tight corner and a small step.

For anyone who has hired a piano removal company, what precautions did they take to prevent scratches, dents, or wall damage? Did they use special equipment or protective coverings?

I'm also curious whether it's better to empty the room beforehand or let the movers decide what needs to be moved. Any advice or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated before I book a service.

For anyone who has used a service for piano removal North Atlanta GA, were you impressed with the care they took to protect your floors and walls? Did they use professional equipment or protective coverings throughout the move?

thanks in advance for any help
