kenmore icemaker stopped working

I have a kenmore refridge model 106-56532400 and the icemaker is 8 cube W10122502rim597 stopped working. Optics OK. when I jump the T&h it does fills with water, stops, freezes and dumps the ice but wont cycle again unless I jump it again. if i open the freezer the optic lite flashes 2 pause 2 pause. if I close the flapper the lite comes on steady!

What is the temperature in the freezer and is there anything hampering air flow over the icemaker?

Jumping T and H simulates the closing of the internal icemaker thermostat's contacts. If the freezer was too warm (it should be between 0° and -5°F for an icemaker's best functioning - water freezes at only 32°F) or there is poor air flow over the icemaker, the icemaker's thermostat may not close to start another cycle. Either that or that thermostat may be defective.
