Maytag clothes washer, model PAV3240AWW, less than 2 years old.
Need Help: How does one remove the Start Knob, so timer can be removed. Would appreciate any comments.
Start Knob has a glossy cover disc and a rubber rim. Both are readily removable. But the remaining disc and stem are attached to the timer stem somehow ... a mystery to me. Possibly a special tool is required. Dado
