Kenmore Elite Ice Maker

This is a freestanding icemaker, model number 6.89483998 that is manufactured in 2007.
I have replaced the water inlet valve, it split open. Now the the unit is melting all the ice in the unit, the top of the unit is very warm, I think the heating grid to cut the ice is over heating. What should be replaced to correct the problem.

That model number does not look correct. Please double check it.

What should be replaced to correct the problem.

I'm afraid I don't have experience with ice machines, sorry. Once you post its correct model number maybe someone that is will try to assit you.
