  • kitchenaid drinking water tubing

I have a side by side kitchenaid refrigerator. The water tubing for the drinking water has turned algae green so I want to pull forward the extra tubing that is behind the crisper. I cant figure out how to get to the inside of the spikets where the water and ice come out, can you help me on this? Thank you

I have been a whirlpool/kithchenaid certified tech for 35 years.
How old is the Ref? The tubes should not turn green from algae or bacteria ever.
The temp inside the ref should keep that from happening. the tubing can be replaced but it will not be easy or cheap as it is a hard job

    What is the Model number?
It should be right inside the ref
