Maytag Performa Washer Drum out of Balance

Hi, I have a Maytag Performa Washer Drum out of Balance and I am not sure where to begin. It bangs around even when there is nothing in there. How do I get to the insides to repair and what part/parts do I need for the repair? Is there a belt or something that holds it in place?
