My Kitchenaid dishwasher Model KUDS30FXSS has a small leak coming apparently from the door. During the first cycle I get a small amoung of water dripping from the bottom of the door on the right side. It doesn't seem to leak during the rest of the washing cycle, just during the initial cycle. The dishwasher is only slightly over a year old. I don't see any problem with the gasket on the dishwasher frame (it does not have one on the door). Sometimes it does not leak at all. Its only about a teaspoon or two of water. Any suggestions? I'm reluctant to call a serviceman since it might not leak when he' here.

I can't think of anything specific that would be responsible for leaking just at the start of a cycle.
Are there any signs of suds in the leaking water?
Does the wash arm turn freely and without any wobble?

check to see that the machine is level and plumb. side to side and forward to back. see that the sides are straight keeping the door gasket from sealing. the bottom of the door has no gasket just the top and sides. the internal bottom corners has a seal.
