  • duet front loader model GHW9150PW0 will not drain

Our duet front loader model GHW9150PW0 will not drain. I checked to make sure trap was clean.
I have taken off the drain pump and noticed a small chip missing on the impeller, as shown in the photo below. I am thinking this could allow water in to wreck the pump. Is there a way I can test the motor by hooking to a power source? There are two contact points. Thanks!

AFAIK the pump should operate on 120 volts. It should be able to be connected to a regular power source although running it without water in it for an extended period of time could damage the pump seals.

      Thanks

      Thanks Dano.
I hooked to a an old power cord. It ran, but wobbled a lot - I would think it should have been smooth. I ordered a replacement pump since it had the break in it.
