Looking for a new switch for a Goldstar microwave MA-1172MW

Hi Everyone

My 18 year old microwave is acting up. I opened it and found that the power switch is faulty -- after setting the timer, the microwave does turn off but if I open the door, it turns back on. I'd like to replace the switch but not quite sure how to go about finding a new one. Ideas?

If it is the heating that starts when opening the door, you have serious problems!

If it is just the fan that runs when opening the door, one of the door switches may be defective and need to be replaced. You can see some replacement parts for that model microwave at the following link:
