The ignitor glows for about 3-10 seconds, the fire starts and the igniter goes black. Guess that wasn't what you wanted.
No it isn't. I asked how long the ignitor is OFF for. Not ON for, OFF.

What is the ignitor doing when the fire goes out?

    message #8

How long is the ignitor off for?

    message #10

I didn't ask how long the burner is ON for, I asked how long is the ignitor is OFF for when the burner goes out?

    message #12

... including how long the ignitor is OFF for when the burner is not in flame.

    .
The ignitor being OFF when the flame is not present indicates a problem away from the burner as the culprit which I did say in my reply in message #8 a week ago! If there was confirmation of that I could have gone through the list of possible causes until the actual problem in your case was isolated.

All I ask is that if you want my assistance answer the questions posed so we can get to a possible solution as quickly as possible. I'm not being paid for being here and there are other things I could be doing with my time.
