  • Trouble w/ Refrigerator/freezer

    Hello and Help!!!

I have an Imperial refrigerator freezer with a built in icemaker. About three days ago, it started leaking water. Now I have icicles hanging inside my freezer and Ice cubes are not being produced. It seems that water is leaking inside the freezer and creating big chunks of ice everywhere. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks,

And that is the extent of a the water and ice? None, for example down under the crisper draws or under the regfrigerator? If not, I guess you don't have a steady enough leak that would show up on a house water meter, for example.

I wonder if you have a crack in the line or a fitting issue where it goes and makes ice, so that everytime it calls for ice, just a little water comes shooting out somewheres where it shouldn't, and then freezes right away.

This sounds like a seek and destroy mission where you have to gain access to where the water goes in to make the ice. I don't know enough other than to offer this as a suggestion.
