The igniter lights after 10 seconds and after another 30 secs the flame comes on but stays on only for 10 secs and then goes out.
The resistance on the secondary coil is 1440 ohms

There are 3 terminals on the primary coil.
Assuming terminal 1 is closest to the front of the drier and 3 is to the back, the resistance between 1 and 2 is 1413. Betwen 1 and 3 is 557. Between 2 and 3 is 1930.Are my coils bad or okay?

Igniter resistance is 210 ohms. Is this okay or is the igniter bad?

I guess you're talking about a clothes DRYER?

To start with, how about telling us the brand name and model number of the appliance in question?

What does the ignitor do at that time?

** Are my coils bad or okay? **

If any of the coils were bad, they would be open (have no continuity). Of course, they have to be tested at the exact time of failure. Waiting too long to test them could allow their condition to change so you might not be able to see the failure at that time.

there is no set rule for electric elements resistances. every machine will be different. other factors funnel into resistance measurements too. the motor, control circuits, ground faults if any will be with this figure. unless your machine came with a manufacturers specific readable resistance chart, all you should be reading is continuity through the elements or from an element to ground to see if it is broken and shorted to ground.
