GE Profile - Only the light doesn't work

GE Profile PFS22SISDSS Purchased 1/2008. My fridge lights for this french door (upper/fridge) are out. I replaced both bulb, but no light. I tested the bulb socket (doors open of course) and no voltage. Everything else seems to be working so I looked for but did not find switch to manually turn off the lights (other than the one at the top of each door of course).

The temperature shows on the panel for both fidge and freezer, the 2 minute warning buzzer goes off if I leave the fridge door open, so I don't see anything else that is not working.

Am I overlooking something obvious here?

yes, the switch itself. there is no manual shutoff for the lights. the switch may feed a relay that turns on the buzzer and lamp.

What is involved in removing the control unit and replacing the relay?

Is the control unit hard to get off?

Can a new relay be soldered in?
