  • No water from supply line

    Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is more appropriate to be posted in the plumbing forum, so please feel free to move it if that is so.

Basically I just moved in to my new home and had a new refrigerator installed. The guys who installed it told me that there is no water coming out of the water supply line. I tested this myself after they left and I can't get anything to come out. I'm not sure where this water supply line goes, because it's basically a faucet attached to the wall behind the refrigerator. The home was built in 2004 and all the other plumbing works just fine. Is there anything I can do short of calling the plumber? I would really appreciate any help!

Someone will need to look for where it connects to the house water supply to turn its valve on. There is no one place it would be, maybe at a nearby sink or in the basement? Finding it shouldn't require any special training, just a little investigational effort. Whether you want to do that or call someone in will be up to you.
