Hello, good site hope someone can help.
I have a 18 year old Whirlpool washer. Great easy to work on unit.
It won't go into spin, either before rinse or at the end. Opening the lid when it should be spining lets the drum release and it then goes into spin.
Bringing the timer around to spin works as well.
So its not transitioning into spin.
Coupler is good, clutch is new. I put a new neutral pack assembly into the transmission, the old parts did look good when I opened the tranmission up. Changed them out anyway.
So I'm thinking motor, timer, or something else with the tranny.
Any ideas are appreciated.
