Sounds like a fan on the freezer side making a noise similar to the baseball-card-in-the-wheel-spokes, only at higher speed and maybe not quite as loud. But loud enough....
Easy to get to? Easy to replace? Would that even be the problem? Sounds like it's coming from in bqack of where the freezer light is.

Look for an excessive frost build up on the evaporator coil which could be extending too near to the fan blade.
