Inglis Dishwasher wont drain water

dishwasher runs thru complete has water in bottom dishes have stuff on them. appears to not be pulling water out what can i check I have only run vinegar and baking soda thru it once. have pulled front panel on the bottom and am going to pull drain tube and see if it is plugged andy suggestions would be appreciated.

When you have water remaining for the most part something is not draining. If the pump is alright check the hose as you mentioned, but also check your sink to make sure that is not partially clogged. Also check your garbage disposal if you have one for any obstructions. Also check to make sure the hose is arranged properly, so that water wont run back into the dishwasher

How much water is left in the machine? Just a bit or all the way up to the heater element?

Can you hear the motor running when the dishwasher should be draining?

That would be a good place to start for poor draining if the motor IS running during drain, as well as the house plumbing connections as The Builder suggested.

andy suggestions would be appreciated

If the motor IS running during drain and drain hose and connections are not the problem, someone could inspect the soil settler/collector assembly (see the following link) of the unit for blockages.
