  • Whirlpool Fridge/Freezer.. Problems..

    Hello:

I have a whirlpool Fridge model EET201ZKN90 .. and a couple days ago we replaced our kitchen flooring and the fridge had to be moved.. only tilted about 20-30% to move. Well left unplugged for a bout 6 hours then plugged in where we moved it to "as we were not done with the floor" Operated fine. Next day moved back into kitchen and plugged back in again. Now it doesn't keep cool. Freezer fluxuates between 20 and 30 degrees ~ The only thing we did to it before we moved it back into place was to clean the condenser coils.. "which were quite dusty".

We have pulled off the back panel inside the freezer to check the coils in the freezer section and they seem to have a Frost on them "equally covered".. when freezer is at the 20 degree mark "when it goes up to the 30's mark of course this turns into liquid and not frost" the frost never gets real heavy just a lite coating. Then it will warm up then cool again? And also because of this freezing and thawing water is collecting in the drip pan!

Now we have never had ANY problems with this Fridge before what so ever just after the move and cleaning of the condenser coils.

Any suggestions.. we are bummed as just spent a bit on the new flooring, was not expecting a Fridge problem.

Of course the Fridge does not stay cool either because the freezer compartment is not working properly to fan the air into the fridge.

    any suggestions Please!!!

    Thanks,
    Laurie

Make sure the fan that is down by the compressor is running.
Something may have got into the fan blade stopping it.
