I need a containment vessel to place under new dishwasher. I've heard they exist - with exit connection for hose to drain when dishwasher leaks.

I need a containment vessel to place under new dishwasher. I've heard they exist - with exit connection for hose to drain when dishwasher leaks.

You shouldn't need anything like since dishwashers shouldn't be left leaking. There is however a drain pan that will funnel any occasional leaks out in front of the machine so they can be detected and looked into in a timely fashion.

There are such things as you've mentioned but usually just for washing machines for when used on upper house levels.
