  • How to Restore a Rusted Sandwich Maker?

    Hello everyone,

I recently found my old sandwich maker that I haven’t used in years. Unfortunately, it’s now covered in rust. Is there any way to clean and restore it so it’s safe to use again, or should I consider getting a new one? Any advice on the best cleaning methods or whether it’s worth the effort would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

Hey there! It’s great that you found your old sandwich maker! To clean off the rust, try scrubbing it gently with a paste of baking soda and water, and use a non-abrasive scrubber. Make sure to thoroughly clean and dry it before checking for any damage or rust that might affect its safety. If it cleans up well and looks safe, it might be worth keeping, but if the rust is severe or there are electrical concerns, it could be better to get a new one. Good luck with your cleaning, and feel free to ask if you need more tips!
