Microwave runs, but don't heat the food properly. What are some common reasons for this issue? Could it be a problem with the magnetron, fuse, or another component?

It doesn't make any noise. It actually works sometimes, but other times, the light is on, and it doesn’t heat or even seem to function properly.

Do you think the microwave's light and timer would still work if the door switch were faulty? From my understanding, it shouldn't turn on at all. Could you please explain this? Thank you in advance.
