Hi. My dishwasher takes in water OK, but then it turns around and drains most of it back out so the dishes don't wash properly. Also, is it normal for the dishwasher to drain every time the door is opened and closed, too? Anyone know why this may be?

That will depend on how the particular model was designed. Check the owner's manual to see what it says about interrupting a cycle.is it normal for the dishwasher to drain every time the door is opened and closed

the washer should have a timing chart as to what happens at every timed interval during the wash - drain cycle. it could be between the inner door and outer panel.Comment
