have a Yamaha rx v730rds and the volume pod on the receiver is behaving erratically. turn it up and it goes +1 -1 +1 -1 +1 +1 and the same turning down. I'm guessing i have to clean it. How do i clean it, or dissemble this receiver? thanx

have no idea how to take off the cover. look for some screws that hold the cover on. on the volume control there's a small space between the two outside terminals. use a quality tuner cleaner and give a few shots inside the control. turn the control up and down to clean and distribute the cleaner then let it dry. it evaporates quickly.
