  • How Do I Strip and Stain Cabinetry for a Professional Finish?

    Hey everyone!

I recently moved into an older home and the kitchen cabinets look worn and outdated. I have been researching different refinishing methods and I keep coming back to the idea of completely redoing them from scratch.

Before I commit to this project, I wanted to ask those of you who have tackled a similar renovation. What tools and products do you recommend when you want to strip and stain cabinetry the right way? How many coats of stain typically work best?

Any advice on prep work, sanding grits, or sealing the final finish would be greatly appreciated.
