Stove just stopped working today.

Hello my stove just stopped working, I'm wondering if it is the power cord that overheated. I don't know much so I took some pictures so maybe someone could help me figure this out.




does this piece need to be replaced? It seems like its just a bit of metal that wouldn't stop functioning. What is it called?

The power cord seems to have burned through some of the plastic.

looks like the screw was loose and heated up the terminal. get a new pigtail and 10-32 screws. if you think it'd help use some anti-oxidant gel on the terminal.
