My wife and I moved into our house a few months ago. SO needless to say, I've had plenty of little jobs to take care of.
The next one I am a little unsure of...
There is a flood light above the garage, the swtich located in the upper hallway. It is on the same line as the the hall lights, and the lights on the front porch.
In the corner of the garage, the wire running from the hall switch comes from the ceiling. The wire for the light is coming the garage wall. Right now, they are only attached by tape. No box (which makes me wonder how it passed inspection, but that is another story.)
Is adding a junction box a difficult job? I'm not super-handy, but not worthless either. Is it a pretty self explanatory job? Shut down power-- attach box to the wall -- attach wires in the box--close box--turn on power.....or am I making it sound too simple? Thanks for the help everyone.
