  • Septic tank aerator timer

I've been looking for a regular store or a online store that sells aerator timers for a septic tank. I can get one through the tank people but I think he is wanting to much for it. I checked intermatic & I found a lot of timers but not what I am looking for. I think the present timer I have is on 15 minutes every hour. Also my water heater has a timer on it also which is more of the usual clock type. It has become very load lately. Do you think it is getting ready to go out?

    Thank you,
    Fred

Intermatic may be the way to go. I think you can get a 24 hr programmable using clips on the round wheel. Another source may be Omron relays. They have all sorts of on-off timers - might be confusing to some people as you have a start "gate" signal, a stop, and a reset pulse. This can be configured with aux relays for a specific function.
