On windy days the exhaust fan in my master bath will make a clicking sound, I can't tell if it's in the fan unit itself or somewhere closer to the exit point out the roof. I'm wondering if I could keep my bathroom from waking me up in the middle of the night if I installed a new fan with a 'backdraft damper'. I know they are designed to keep the outside air from infiltrating back into the room the fan is in, but I'm wondering if it would have a spring or something on the damper that would prevent the wind from lifting it up and making that annoying clicking sound.
Thanks for the input~

P.S. I suppose this could go in the plumbing section as well, sorry if I cross-posted.
