Help needed in installing new wirings. I have not read any article abotu this yet. Do we need a an electrician or can we do it by ourselves. I plan to install sconces..but there are no pre-wires.
So how do I do it.

Welcome to the forum.
You can do this yourself but... you better do some reading first.
You will need to have access to run a wire to your light switch location and then from there to the location of the sconces. If you have a removable ceiling/ unfinished ceiling below or attic space above this helps, otherwise you are going to also be learning about drywalling and painting.
It might be worth getting a quote from a couple of people to see if it makes more sense to have someone else do it for you. Also you would get some idea from them as to how difficult it is going to be.
