A 4 11/16 square box with 3/4" KO. use a 3/4" bx connector and don't forget the red head inside the bx. Mount on the back wall so it's accessible from the front drawer. Use a piece of flex to the terminals. Breakers are 40 amp two pole common trip and 20 amp two pole common trip

Thank you for the advice.Correction about the new box for the stove bottom part the wire gauge will be #12 not #8 on a 20amp breaker.I will use the old box 40 amp breaker and cap off the white wire that will be hard wired.Just leave the white wire in breaker box and not cap off??? Jeff

got to thinking about that range top - the supply is 240 volts across the two heavy leads, but there was no ground mentioned. Since the bare or white wire is already connected to the neutral bus, why not make it the grounding conductor for the equipment? use a screw lug to ground it at the stove location to the cabinet ground. the new stove top must have a ground connection. that way you'll be protected if something should happen to the elements. do the same with the lower unit. just make sure the bare ground or white is connected to the neutral bar at the breaker panel before you start flipping breakers ON.
