Extension cord power for track light?

On the Nora Lighting site there is a ''Grounded Cord and Plug with Rail Connector". It's description says it includes 15' of grounded 20A cord and allows connection to a 3-prong grounded receptacle.
Am I right in thinking this can be used to power this line voltage monorail light track, instead of hard wiring it?

that is an option the manufacturer suggests. however if you want hard wiring, a different adapter can be used. the track can be end or middle fed using this adapter.

Thanks for the quick reply HayZee518. I'm looking at track lighting and would like to use a solution like this.
