Getting ready for the inspector - Basement

Ok - I am in the final stages of preparing the basement remodel electrical work and it dawned on me - what do I do with the wires that are feeding my baseboard heaters - they are currently attached to the stud whre the baseboard heater will eventually go and are literally just hanging there with no box. I have read not to put these wires into a plastic box - not sure - do I use a metal box - or no box at all since these wires will be joined within the baseboard heater.

    Just confused.

the wires are hardwired inside the end junction box of the heater. no need for a box. put a tag on the wire that says "heater."
