I am adding a 20A circuit and 4-5 receptacles to unfinished basement.
Nebraska code as I read it requires that ALL receptacles be GFCI in this scenario. Sound correct? The guy at Lowe's tells me one GFCI on LINE side and using standard for the rest on the LOAD side will work.
Also, the electrical book I am using recommends not adding downstream receptacles to the LOAD to prevent "phantom" spikes. It recommends using each GFCI as "stand-alone". Thoughts?
Thanks in advance ...
