  • 4-way multiple lights

I am installing a 15 amp 4-way circuit to control 3 recessed lights. I want one of my 3-way switches to be at the end of the circuit because I can't feed another wire to it (would have to pull it through a wall).

I understand basic 4-way lighting but am confused as to the wiring to the multiple lights. Do I use 14/2 to all the lights or do I need 14/3 to one of them? I can't seem to find any wiring diagrams for this that shows the 3-way switch at the end of the run, and showing multiple lights.

Any help is appreciated...a diagram would be even better!

if you look in the electrical section or the illustrations, I have a diagram for three four ways and two three ways used to control lighting. any fixture will be wired parallel from one fixture to another to another etc. line is fed into one three way and the load is taken off the remote switch. if you want the line and load out of the same box, hit me back and I'll drawn one up for you. hayzee
