Greetings,
I have a Liftmaster garage door , That has the Smart Board burned out from a lightning strike or surge.
The motor ran fine to open it, but allowed it to run still even when the limiter switch engaged.
I would like to know if the motor , could be wired directly to a switch.(momentary) as to operate in both reverse and forward?Basically eliminating all the board and eye functions.
Overall the question is is the motor reversible without the board?
Thanks Al
