Here is what I have. I have a plug in which 1/2 is operated by a switch and the other has constant power. I am wanting to use the switch to operate 2 new lights I want to install. Is there any way that I can use the power at the switch and the switch to run these new lights? I am not concerned about the plug being operated by a switch once I am done. Any information will be greatly appreciated

Sure. You can tap into the switched half of the plug and send that up to the new lights.
If you want to tap into the switch itself, it all depends on how it's wired. If the power starts at the switch and goes to the plug, then yes you can get it from that location. If the power starts at the plug and then travels to the swich and back, you have to get it from the plug. Or intercept it in the attic.
