Would a 3d printed wall plate identical to a store-bought wall plate pass inspection? What are the criteria?

Well, after several days and some reading in what pieces of the NEC I was able to find online, I've figured out on my own that there doesn't appear to be any requirements for plastic switch plates except that they be large enough to completely cover the device. I'm going to call it good.
