Hi,
I removed a ceiling fan with light in our kitchen. I originally installed a remote to control the fan (with a light) The original light had a pull on it and installing a remote for the fan/light combo worked great.
Now I'm ditching the fan for a conventional light only. Problem is, Power and Neutral wires that bypass through the device have three wires coming out and the Back and White wires out of the device are designed for the fan motor with a third BLUE wire for the light.
Is there any way to wire this so that I can make it work for JUST a light?
Can I use the BLUE wire instead of the Black power line'
Can I connect the BLUE light wire and the black power wire to make the light work.
Thanks
Seamus
