  • Concrete Leveling: Is It Worth Repairing Instead of Replacing?

    Hello everyone.

I’m considering repairing uneven slabs on my driveway and walkway, as several sections have shifted and now create drainage issues and trip hazards. I’ve been researching different solutions and keep coming across Concrete Leveling as a possible alternative to full slab replacement.

However, I’m unsure how effective it is over the long term, especially in areas with unstable soil. How do contractors decide whether leveling will hold up versus recommending full replacement? Has anyone dealt with recurring sinking after repairs?

I’d like to understand typical costs, durability, and maintenance requirements before making a decision.
