I am in the process of creating a "rainforest" room for my aquatic turtles & my Hermanns Tortoise. All 4 walls are covered with a rainforest mural, coated with 3 coats of polyurathane to protect it from moisture. I originally put down dark green carpet, but want to tear it out and paint the subfloor to look like dirt, how would I go about this?
